Adolescent Reproductive Health Knowledge Levels in Southern Uganda Before and After Sexual Health Intervention Programmes: A Pre-Post Survey Analysis

Abstract
Adolescents in Southern Uganda often have limited knowledge about reproductive health. A pre-post survey design was employed to evaluate the impact of these interventions on adolescent participants' understanding of reproductive health topics. The analysis revealed a statistically significant increase (p < 0.05) in knowledge levels post-intervention compared to baseline, with an average improvement of 12% across all surveyed areas. Sexual health intervention programmes effectively improved adolescent reproductive health knowledge in Southern Uganda. Further targeted interventions should be implemented to consolidate and enhance these learning gains.
