Abstract

This study aims to evaluate the clinical outcomes of Senegalese district hospitals in terms of patient care and service delivery. A mixed-methods approach combining quantitative data analysis and qualitative interviews was employed. The study used a randomization process to divide the sample into intervention and control groups. The findings indicate that there is an improvement in clinical outcomes for patients in the intervention group compared to the control group, with a statistically significant difference of p < 0.05. This study suggests that adopting randomized field trials can effectively enhance clinical performance and patient care in district hospitals. The findings should inform policy decisions aimed at improving healthcare delivery systems in Senegalese district hospitals. clinical outcomes, district hospitals, randomized trial, Senegal Treatment effect was estimated with $\text{logit}(p_i)=\beta_0+\beta^\top X_i$, and uncertainty reported using confidence-interval based inference.
