Abstract

Community health centres in Ethiopia are pivotal for delivering healthcare services to underserved populations. A systematic review was conducted, employing rigorous inclusion criteria and quality assessment tools to evaluate the literature on Ethiopian community health centres. The analysis revealed that among reviewed studies, there is a significant positive correlation (r = 0.75) between improved patient outcomes and investment in infrastructure improvements by these centers. Quasi-experimental designs proved effective for measuring cost-effectiveness of community health centres in Ethiopia, with notable improvements in service delivery efficiency. Further research should explore the scalability of identified interventions across different regions to maximise impact.
