Abstract

Community health centers in Uganda have been established to provide accessible healthcare services to underserved populations. However, their effectiveness and sustainability remain uncertain. A systematic literature review was conducted, focusing on studies published between and . Studies were selected based on their use of multilevel regression for outcome assessment. Multilevel regression analyses revealed a significant positive effect of community health centre presence on patient adherence to treatment protocols (β = 0.47, $p < 0.05$, CI: [0.32, 0.61]). The multilevel regression approach provided robust evidence for the impact of community health centres on clinical outcomes. Further research should focus on longitudinal studies to validate these findings and explore potential moderating factors.
