Abstract

Burkina Faso is a West African country experiencing significant political transitions, with recent changes in leadership and governance structures. The analysis draws from existing literature and case studies of Burkina Faso’s recent political transformations. Despite progress, gender imbalances persist, influencing policy outcomes and public service delivery. Efforts should focus on strengthening gender quotas for political representation and enhancing female leadership training programmes.
