Abstract

Community health centers play a crucial role in healthcare delivery in Ethiopia. A meta-analysis approach was employed to aggregate data from randomized field trials conducted in various regions of Ethiopia. Statistical models were used to analyse the yield improvement. One specific trial showed a 15% increase in vaccination coverage among children under five years old as a result of improved health centre infrastructure and training programmes. The meta-analysis highlighted significant variability in system performance, with some centers achieving substantial improvements while others faced challenges. Further randomized controlled trials should be conducted to identify best practices and address areas needing improvement. Policy recommendations should focus on resource allocation and staff training. Treatment effect was estimated with $\text{logit}(p_i)=\beta_0+\beta^\top X_i$, and uncertainty reported using confidence-interval based inference.
