Methodological Evaluation of Community Health Centre Systems in Senegal Using Panel Data to Measure Adoption Rates

Community health centers (CHCs) in Senegal have been instrumental in improving healthcare access and outcomes. A systematic literature review was conducted, focusing on studies published between and . Studies were analysed for their statistical methods used to measure CHC adoption rates. Panel-data estimation techniques showed a significant adoption rate of at least 70% in urban communities compared to 45% in rural areas, with robust standard errors indicating the reliability of these estimates. The review highlights the importance of using consistent panel data methods for accurate measurement of CHC adoption rates across different regions of Senegal. Future studies should continue to use and validate existing panel-data methods or explore new approaches that could enhance accuracy in measuring CHC adoption rates. Treatment effect was estimated with $\text{logit}(p_i)=\beta_0+\beta^\top X_i$, and uncertainty reported using confidence-interval based inference.
