Abstract

Community health centres (CHCs) play a crucial role in healthcare delivery in Kenya, yet their effectiveness varies across different regions. A mixed-method approach will be employed, including quantitative surveys and qualitative interviews to assess the system’s functionality and user satisfaction. Findings from a preliminary survey indicate that 65% of CHCs have implemented at least one recommended practice. The multilevel regression analysis will provide insights into factors influencing adoption rates, including geographical location and local governance structures. Policy recommendations will be made to enhance the adoption of best practices in CHC systems based on the study findings. Treatment effect was estimated with $\text{logit}(p_i)=\beta_0+\beta^\top X_i$, and uncertainty reported using confidence-interval based inference.
