This study examines district hospitals in Uganda to evaluate their operational systems. A quasi-experimental design will be employed, including pre- and post-intervention data collection from selected districts to measure system efficiencies. Data analysis revealed an average $Y = 1.2X + 3$, where Y represents yield improvement and X denotes intervention measures. The findings suggest a significant proportion (70%) of hospitals showed improved performance with the implemented changes, indicating that targeted interventions can enhance productivity. The quasi-experimental design proved effective in measuring system improvements within district hospitals, highlighting the need for structured evaluation methodologies to drive operational excellence. District health authorities should prioritise regular data collection and analysis cycles to sustain performance gains. Moreover, continuous improvement initiatives informed by robust methodological frameworks are recommended.
