Abstract
Theoretical frameworks in African Studies often explore post-colonial legacies, but few focus specifically on the evolution of African philosophy within Egypt’s intellectual landscape. The methodology employed is a critical review of existing literature on African philosophy in Egypt, including historical texts, scholarly articles, and secondary sources from both academic and non-academic domains. The theoretical framework underscores the importance of understanding African philosophical evolution within a global context, highlighting how Egyptian thinkers have contributed to broader debates on decolonization and cultural renaissance in Africa. Future research should focus on empirical studies reflecting these theoretical insights, thereby providing a more nuanced understanding of contemporary African philosophy in Egypt.
