Abstract

The Libyan University sector plays a pivotal role in the production and dissemination of knowledge within the country's academic landscape. No empirical data were collected or analysed; this is a theoretical and analytical piece focusing on existing literature and perspectives. The Libyan University sector's efforts are crucial for maintaining and expanding knowledge production, which is essential for national development and international recognition. Further investment in infrastructure, faculty training, and collaboration with external partners can enhance the universities' impact on local and regional knowledge ecosystems.
