Abstract
Afrofuturism is a contemporary cultural movement that explores African heritage through futuristic perspectives. A comparative study employing qualitative research methods including thematic analysis of existing literature and semi-structured interviews with key informants from various sectors in Guinea. The study identified a significant theme of innovation and resilience within Afrofuturism as a response to contemporary challenges, particularly in the technology sector and community-based initiatives. Afrofuturism offers a nuanced understanding of African futures in Guinea by highlighting both traditional strengths and innovative potential for future development.
