Abstract
Resource-rich African nations such as Libya face unique environmental challenges due to their abundance of natural resources. A qualitative study involving interviews and document analysis. Highlighting a significant proportion (35%) of Libyan communities affected by pollution from oil extraction activities. The need for robust environmental policies and community engagement in resource management is emphasised. Promote transparent governance, public participation, and equitable distribution of resources.
