Abstract

Sub-Saharan Africa (SSA), particularly Namibia, is characterized by significant gender disparities in various sectors including business. The approach involves a comprehensive review of existing literature, incorporating insights from social science theories and economic studies relevant to SSA. The theoretical model underscores the importance of addressing structural inequalities to enhance women's empowerment within the business sector, particularly through policy interventions and education initiatives. Recommendations include developing targeted policies that support women entrepreneurs and increasing access to financial resources for female-led businesses in Namibia.
