Abstract

South Sudan faces significant gender disparities in rural areas due to historical patriarchal structures and limited legal protections for women. Theoretical synthesis approach will be employed, integrating feminist jurisprudence with empirical evidence from South Sudan's rural regions. The theoretical framework underscores the need for culturally sensitive legal reforms and community engagement in promoting gender equality. Recommendation includes developing localized legal education programmes and integrating traditional practices with modern legal frameworks.
