Abstract

Ethiopia's legal landscape is a focal point for law research in Africa, with significant implications for policy formulation. A qualitative approach was employed to review existing literature and interviews conducted with legal scholars and policymakers. Ethiopian legal research heavily emphasizes civil law principles, which can influence policy decisions but may overlook other legal traditions. Policymakers should consider the broader spectrum of legal influences to ensure comprehensive and equitable policy formulation.
