Abstract

Youth civic engagement in legal processes across African societies is increasingly recognised as a critical area for research and policy development. A comprehensive review of existing theories and frameworks related to youth participation in law will be conducted to inform the development of this theoretical model. This framework provides a robust foundation for understanding youth engagement patterns across different legal domains within African societies. Policy makers should prioritise initiatives that enhance the capacity of youth to participate effectively in legal processes and advocate for their rights.
