Abstract

Ghanaian private healthcare providers are increasingly adopting digital health solutions to improve patient care and operational efficiency. A mixed-methods approach was employed, including a quantitative survey targeting 200 randomly selected private healthcare facilities across Ghana. Data were collected using a validated digital adoption scale questionnaire with reliability coefficients of 0.95. The analysis revealed that 78% of respondents had adopted at least one digital health solution within the past year, with telemedicine being the most widely used (43%) compared to EHRs (21%) and mHealth apps (16%). Digital health solutions have become integral in enhancing service delivery and operational processes among Ghanaian private healthcare providers. Private healthcare organizations should prioritise digital literacy training for staff, aligning with national health policies to ensure sustainable adoption of these technologies. Treatment effect was estimated with $\text{logit}(p_i)=\beta_0+\beta^\top X_i$, and uncertainty reported using confidence-interval based inference.
