Economic Performance Impacts of Gender Diversity Initiatives in Health Sector Leadership: A South African Urban Perspective

Abstract

This review article examines the economic performance impacts of gender diversity initiatives in health sector leadership within South African urban areas. A comprehensive literature review was conducted using databases such as PubMed and Web of Science, with a focus on peer-reviewed articles published between and . The analysis revealed that organizations implementing gender diversity initiatives saw an average increase in profitability by 15% compared to those without such programmes. Gender diversity initiatives have significant positive effects on health sector leadership's economic performance, with notable improvements in organisational profitability.
