Abstract

The integration of nutrition education into school meal programmes in Kenyan primary schools aims to address undernutrition among children. A quantitative study using pre- and post-intervention surveys across selected schools, with a focus on baseline data collection in . The preliminary findings suggest an increase in average daily attendance by 15% after the nutrition education programme was introduced. Integrating nutrition education into school meal programmes shows promise for improving educational participation, though further research is needed to confirm these initial results. School administrators should consider implementing comprehensive nutrition education curricula alongside their existing meal provision strategies.
