Abstract

Online job platforms have become increasingly popular in Nigeria, offering a range of employment opportunities to youth. The research employs a comparative analysis of data collected from users who utilise online job platforms for employment purposes in Lagos, Nigeria. Users reported an average satisfaction score of 7.5 out of 10 with the platforms' ease-of-use features and service delivery. Online job platforms significantly enhance youth access to employment opportunities but require improvements in skill development programmes to match users’ expectations.
