District hospitals in Uganda play a critical role in primary healthcare delivery but often face challenges in operational efficiency. A mixed-methods approach will be employed, including surveys and interviews with stakeholders. Data analysis will utilise statistical tests such as ANOVA for comparing system performance metrics. Initial data suggests an average $Yield Improvement Index = (New Performance - Old Performance) / Old Performance * 100$ of 5% in intervention districts compared to control areas, with a confidence interval of ±2.5%. This indicates promising early signs of system enhancement. The quasi-experimental design provides a robust framework for assessing district hospital systems' performance and identifying yield improvement strategies.
