Abstract

The informal economy in Niger encompasses an estimated 40% of its workforce, highlighting the need for a robust theoretical framework to address labour law dynamics and workers' rights. This theoretical framework underscores the importance of integrating existing legal frameworks with innovative community-driven initiatives for equitable worker protection. Policy makers should prioritise legislative reform and strengthen partnerships between government agencies and informal sector organizations to improve labour law compliance.
