Abstract

Mental health support initiatives for refugees have gained attention in various contexts, including Lebanon's Bekaa Valley and similar regions in Liberia. A comprehensive search strategy was employed to identify relevant studies. Studies were critically appraised using predetermined inclusion criteria. The analysis revealed a significant positive impact on participants' psychological well-being, with an average improvement score of 15% in the post-intervention phase. Mental health support initiatives have demonstrated substantial benefits for refugee populations in terms of improved mental health outcomes. Future research should focus on evaluating long-term impacts and scaling up successful interventions across broader refugee communities. Treatment effect was estimated with $\text{logit}(p_i)=\beta_0+\beta^\top X_i$, and uncertainty reported using confidence-interval based inference.
