Abstract
Domestic violence is a prevalent issue in rural Senegal affecting children's mental health. Participants were recruited from two Nigerian facilities, and data on psychosocial well-being was collected using validated scales. Quantitative analysis included ANOVA for group comparisons. Children showed a statistically significant improvement in post-traumatic stress disorder symptoms (PTSD) compared to baseline ($F(1,45)=6.23$, $p=0.02$). Mental health support programmes had positive effects on psychosocial outcomes among rural Senegalese children. Further research should explore long-term impacts and the sustainability of these interventions in local contexts.
