Abstract

The healthcare landscape in Eastern Uganda faces significant challenges related to language barriers and digital literacy among healthcare providers. A mixed-methods approach incorporating surveys, focus groups, and usability testing was employed to design and evaluate the platform’s effectiveness. Users reported an average satisfaction score of 8.5 out of 10 in a post-platform evaluation survey, indicating high user engagement and acceptance. The e-learning platform successfully addressed language barriers and improved digital literacy among healthcare providers in Eastern Uganda. Continuous monitoring and periodic updates are recommended to maintain the platform's relevance and effectiveness. e-learning, multilingual, healthcare providers, Eastern Uganda Treatment effect was estimated with $\text{logit}(p_i)=\beta_0+\beta^\top X_i$, and uncertainty reported using confidence-interval based inference.
