Retraining Strategies in Informal Sector Workers Relocating from Dar es Salaam to Morogoro District: A Theoretical Framework

Abstract

Workforce retraining is crucial for informal sector workers relocating from Dar es Salaam to Morogoro District in Tanzania's rural areas. This article employs qualitative analysis of existing literature and expert consultations to construct the theoretical model. A comprehensive retraining strategy is essential to facilitate successful transitions for these workers into new employment opportunities. Develop targeted training programmes aligned with local needs, integrate digital literacy and agricultural skills, and monitor progress through impact assessments.
