Abstract

School-based HIV prevention programmes have been implemented in Kenya to address high rates of infection among adolescent girls. These programmes aim to reduce re-offending rates by providing education and support. Not applicable as it is a theoretical framework article. This article aims to contribute to the theoretical understanding of what constitutes effective school-based HIV prevention programmes for adolescent girls in Kenya. Future research should validate these theoretical insights through empirical studies, focusing on implementation strategies and long-term outcomes.
